LGO Leadership Program trip to the historic Bal Theater for Black Panther

We took our awesome team of students from the LGO Teen Leadership Program to visit the historic Bal Theater in San Leandro. The students got a tour of the legendary movie palace and were told about its nearly 75 years of history in sharing the cinematic and performing arts in the Bay Area. The film of the evening was local filmmaker Ryan Coogler's billion dollar hit BLACK PANTHER and the kids loved it. Some of them had already seen the film but it's a film that should be shared to our local youth to spread the messages of pride and teamwork.
