As you make your way down this reflection on the year that was, we want to thank you for whatever contributions you made to the Life Goes On Foundation this past year. It's your support that keeps us pushing and without you we would be nothing. We've been around for over ten years now and we will continue to help our communities and survivors in 2019.

JANUARY 2018
We kicked off 2018 speaking to a special group of young athletes who were attending the Jamtown Youth Basketball Camp. Arthur shared a story about his experiences and afterwards had some fun with the youth by doing a free-throw contest with some of the players.
FEBRUARY 2018
In February we visited Stanford University and for a seminar and I walked in my exoskeleton suit to share the technological breakthrough we've reached.
MARCH 2018
NBC Sports Bay Area created about my relationship with Warriors superstars Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry and how the Life Goes On Foundation has inspired them. It was a blast putting this together and I'm truly blessed to have had the opportunity to cross paths with two of my heroes. Give it a watch!
APRIL 2018
It was an honor partnering with Oakland Promise and the Warriors Community Foundation to help raise the Warriors flag over Downtown Oakland to kick off the 2018 NBA Playoffs. We got another championship!
MAY 2018
Warriors PG Quinn Cook visited our LGO Teen Leadership Program to talk to the students. They were all amazed to see him and definitely walked away inspired.
It was a blast to take our LGO Teen Leadership Program to see BLACK PANTHER at the Bal Theater. We look forward to hosting more movie screenings in the future!
JUNE 2018
Arthur spoke during the KD ED TECH: DISRUPT 2018 conference at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii about his experiences as a SCI survivor and adapting to walking again. Thanks to Darrin and Dean for giving me the opportunity to share my story.
JULY 2018
We completed the first season of our LGO Teen Leadership Program in July and it was great to see all of our students graduate, grow and earn certificates for completing the 12 week community program.
AUGUST 2018
Had an amazing time at Neurofit360 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. A big thanks to Guy the owner for having me as a guest at their incredible facility.
SEPTEMBER 2018
We ran the Oakland Half Marathon representing Team LGO. We look forward to participating in the race next year so start training to join Team LGO!
Our visit to Hall Middle School in Marin for our Pushing For Change Speaker Series was incredible, check out the video above!
OCTOBER 2018
We were humbled to accept the non-profit of the year for the California Senate 10th District. We were presented with a beautiful plaque and certificate from Senator Wieckowski. It was an unforgettable night and we will continue to strive to make our community a better place by spreading our mission.
NOVEMBER 2018
We took the students of the LGO Teen Leadership Program to see the Oakland Raiders and we got to meet team legends like Lincoln Kennedy and Tom Flores.
It was another successful LGO Annual Thanksgiving Giveback as we went around the streets of Oakland feeding the community on a day where giving back is most important. Join us next year!

Finally in December we hosted our LGO Teen Leadership Graduation for the season with the amazing and resilient Caheri Gutierrez as our keynote speaker. It was another fantastic year of preparing students for the road ahead.
